Toddy

White as milk is this white wine,
But just do wrong, once it’s consumed.
Intoxicates every nerve and makes you hover,
With an empty soul and body, over the world.

See the huge crowd in front of the dark temple,
Just beside the river that flows flawlessly.
Stop a while and just watch the worshipers,
Whose bones project through their fleshless body.

Why these people make their pocket void,
Forgetting their families for a momentary fun.
Let them know about their starving family, waiting,
Their return with some money for the food.

The Revival

The day is too sanguine
Still I feel so morose
Her eyes speak a lot
Still she keeps a gulf.
Oh! Roaring wind
Squeeze me with thy hands
And brew me anew
Make my mind void and
Let no memories linger any more.

Madness

        Madness

When it is dawn
The flowers look up eagerly
As if they are waiting someone.
When it is dusk
The sun kisses the sea
As if it is craving something.
Whenever our eyes meet
My heart beats so swiftly
As if fire is blazing inside me.
Whenever I close my eyes
My mind reaches her within no time
As if a horse is on its racing spree.
Do these mean that all are mad
And does this madness has a name
That binds all of us as one. If so…
Let this madness be called Love.
